Season 4 of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 includes the brand new Vondel map for Battle Royale and DMZ. This medium-sized map features 15 main points of interest, but there’s also a secret townhouse filled with loot, and we’ll guide you around Vondel’s “blocked door” and help you get ready with loot from high level.
During your adventures on Vondel, you may have noticed a townhouse with a door jammed. It looks like any other door you should be able to enter, but running to that specific door gives you text that reveals the door is blocked. There’s also a prompt to interact with the door but nothing happens, and that’s because you’ll have to find the secret entrance.
This building (as shown in the screenshot below) is located in the townhouse section just west of the Vondel Police Station. This townhouse is filled with loot and well worth a visit, but first you’ll need to find a rebreather, which is the oxygen tank upgrade to keep you underwater longer.

Finding a recycler in battle royale may be the biggest challenge here, but they can be picked up around the map. They seem to be most common in first aid and medicine cabinets, but the zoo aquarium also seems to be a common spawning ground.
For DMZ, you can pick up the recycler the same way, or you can also get one through a barter system. Here’s our guide to how the DMZ barter system works, including the recycler recipe and several other useful items.
Take the recycler down the nearby channel to a flooded tunnel location as shown in the screenshot below.

Swim forward, take the first left, then turn right just before you reach a dead end, but it’s important to make sure you use the rebreather here when you take that right turn. The remaining section of the tunnel will take you left and then right, which will lead you into a smaller passage that opens onto a ladder.
After climbing a second ladder, you’ll be inside the locked townhouse. This building has chests and lockers filled with gas masks, killstreaks, cash, and other valuables. He will also usually have a Gold M13B Assault Rifle blueprint, which is built with a full set of attachments. This weapon seems more common in DMZ, and you might not see it in your battle royale match. Only one person needs to take the secret path, then they can unlock the blocked door for all remaining teammates to enter.
Season 4 brought major changes to health in battle royale and the DMZ, so you’ll want to make sure you’re equipped with the best loadouts. Here we recommend a variety of loadouts to try in Warzone Season 4.
