1. Stephen Steals Evidence
Stephen becomes concerned when Lou reveals that the police have agreed to investigate the mysterious tie pin found at the scene of Rufus’ death.
While Lou is busy in a meeting with Carla at the factory, Stephen steals his hotel room key and retrieves the tie pin before the police investigation can begin.
2. Stephen faces new suspicions
After spotting clues to Stephen’s deception, Peter warns Carla that he cannot be trusted.
Rufus’ widow, Lou, may also be putting the pieces of the puzzle together, as she confronts Stephen and demands to know who stole the tie pin from his hotel room.
3. Cassie tells Tyrone the truth
Cassie and Evelyn return to Weatherfield after their absence. Now that Cassie is clean, the couple secretly move into an apartment in the Weatherfield Precinct.
Evelyn wants Cassie to stay home to avoid any awkward questions, but she has other ideas and insists on going out for coffee.
Cassie can’t help but find Tyrone at the Bistro, where the local kids perform in the show Little Big Shotz. Tyrone recognizes Cassie as the woman who was at his house recently, but he is shocked when she reveals that she is his long-lost mother.
4. Tyrone faces a big decision
Hope and Ruby tell Tyrone that they are excited to spend time with their new grandmother Cassie. However, Abi encourages Tyrone to think long and hard before letting a recovering drug addict into his family’s life.
Evelyn also tries her best to make peace with Tyrone, insisting that she was only protecting him with her years of deception over Cassie’s alleged death.
Tyrone ends up visiting Cassie and Evelyn at their new apartment, but what will he tell them?
5. Lauren is humiliated
Lauren tells Max that her new job at the cafe is going well. She then misinterprets the signals with Max and tries to kiss him, leaving her mortified when he pulls away and clarifies that they are just friends.
As Lauren begins to wonder about her future at Weatherfield, she confides in her new boss Roy about how she would like to quit. Roy kindly offers Lauren food and a bed for the night, but is disturbed when she offers to sleep with him in return.
6. Lauren confides in Max and Shona
After her embarrassing moment with Roy, a troubled Lauren goes away and raises concerns for her well-being.
Lauren later resurfaces and shows up at number 8, where she tells Max and Shona how she proposed Roy. In a sad moment illustrating Lauren’s difficult upbringing, she explains that she thought that was what men expected.
7. Gemma struggles to make a good impression
Gemma arrives for a Newton & Ridley board meeting after agreeing to become Henry’s personal assistant.
Henry tries to convince Gemma to relax in her new job, but her father Philip makes it clear that he disapproves of the new addition to their business. Later, Gemma tells Jenny and Daisy that her first day didn’t go well.
8. Ronnie has an idea for Ed
Ronnie celebrates with Ed after selling the last of the new houses. He then suggests to his brother that they form their own business partnership.
Michael intervenes by proposing the name “Ediron Developments”, which goes well with the Bailey brothers.
Later that week, Ronnie suggests a property that he thinks would be ideal for a development project. Ed points out that they wouldn’t see any financial return for years, but Ronnie encourages him to be more ambitious with his goals.
9. Ronnie spots a new prospect
As Ronnie and Debbie spend time together at the hotel bar, they spot local entrepreneur Jason Drinkwater.
Jason is celebrating a new contract with Newton & Ridley, so Ronnie walks up and explains that he and Ed are available to take over the pub’s renovations.
10. Ryan’s behavior raises concerns
Ryan is disappointed when he discovers that his steroid stash vials have leaked.
Carla points out that Ryan seems to be hiding again, barely emerging from his room. She encourages him to spend time with Alya, who also begins to realize something is wrong.
11. Ryan Collapses
Ryan struggles to control his temper as he continues to battle the side effects of steroids.
Later, Ryan experiences heart palpitations while on a run and collapses in the street. Gary rushes to help, wondering if Ryan took anything.
