Coronation Street Spoilers (June 26-30)

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Next weeks Coronation Street will see Cassie, Evelyn’s daughter, arrive on the cobblestones, while Sarah announces to Adam that she is pregnant.

Meanwhile, Max draws inspiration from the past.

Here’s a look at 12 big moments hitting your screens.

1. Evelyn is jealous of Yasmeen’s friendship with Roy

Roy shows Evelyn a schedule he has set up that will allow them both to take care of Freddie. While Evelyn is thrilled to babysit Freddie, she is unimpressed to learn that she is caring for Freddie while Roy takes Yasmeen to a Historical Society meeting.

Later, Evelyn complains to Tyrone about Roy’s friendship with Yasmeen, unaware that his daughter Cassie is watching them.

2. Evelyn receives shocking news

Tyrone gives Evelyn advice on how to handle Roy and Yasmeen’s situation. Heeding Tyrone’s suggestion, Evelyn invites Roy and Yasmeen to meet her at the Bistro.

On the way home, Evelyn spots Cassie across the street but ignores her.

Later, on her way to Roy and Yasmeen, Evelyn is upset by an unexpected call and rushes to the hospital. At the A&E reception, Evelyn explains that her daughter has been admitted on an emergency basis and is awaiting news.

3. Cassie visits Tyrone

The next day, Evelyn ignores a call from the hospital but later changes her mind and decides to visit Cassie again. However, when she arrives at the hospital, Evelyn is shocked to learn that Cassie has been discharged from the hospital.

Evelyn receives another surprise when she returns home and is informed by Tyrone that her friend “Cath” has come to visit. Evelyn is freaked out to see Cassie in the living room and Tyrone wonders how they know each other – unaware that he is face to face with his biological mother.

4. Sarah finds out she is pregnant

Sarah has a drink with Dee-Dee in The Rovers but after tasting her wine, she fears she is pregnant.

Sarah runs home to take a pregnancy test and is horrified to see it’s positive. She breaks the news to Adam but confesses that she doesn’t know who the father is.

5. Adam struggles with Sarah’s news

Sarah decides to attend a first DNA meeting to find out if Adam or Damon is the father of her baby, but worries that Adam is not there to support her.

Later, Adam finds Sarah and Michael in The Rovers talking business, and Sarah sings Owen’s praises. Frustrated by Sarah’s enthusiasm about Owen, Adam leaves.

6. Max confesses the truth to Gav

Max heads to Bec’s apartment and is shocked to see Gav. Gav explains that he was released from the STC and that he is going to ask Bec to marry him.

Feeling guilty about dating Bec behind Gav’s back, Max confesses the truth to his friend. Gav is furious at the betrayal and grabs Max. As things heat up, Max spots Bec nearby and tells him to run.

7. Lauren Returns

Max is stunned when his ex-girlfriend Lauren walks up and reveals that she has left the house.

Max and Lauren broke up earlier this year over the right-wing extremism plot. Lauren’s father was involved with Griff’s band and the teenager later moved in with her mother.

Lauren explains that she had a fight with her mother and doesn’t want anything to do with her father anymore. When she confesses to having spent the night sleeping in a bus station, Max takes pity on her and takes her to the cafe.

8. Max makes a statement about Griff

Max confides in Spider that the CPS wants him to make a statement before Griff’s trial, but it’s clear Max has a hard time with the idea. Spider urges him to do whatever it takes to make sure Griff is punished.

With Shona’s support, Max meets with the CPS and agrees to make a statement about how he was treated by Griff.

9. Paul is touched by the support of his family.

With Paul’s MND symptoms worsening in recent weeks, his family continues to come together. Bernie insists that Paul spend some quality time with Billy while she cleans their apartment.

Meanwhile, Billy suggests that Paul create a list of things he would like to do while he still can.

Later, Paul is emotional when Gemma organizes a game of darts and asks everyone to throw with their weaker hands to give Paul a chance. Gemma and Bernie also inform Paul of their plan to hold a chili-eating contest to raise money to buy Paul’s equipment.

10. Billy has a suggestion for Paul

Billy and Paul share a discussion about religion and sexuality which prompts Billy to suggest that he might baptize Paul. Less than impressed with Billy’s offer, Paul shoots the idea down.

However, when Dee-Dee explains how religion has comforted her in the past, Paul begins to reconsider.

11. Elaine prepares a surprise for Stephen

When Stephen winks at her, Elaine begins to worry about her bad mood. She tells Michael about her concerns, which suggest that Stephen’s mood might be due to him missing Canada.

Later, Stephen casually mentions to Elaine that it’s Canada Day and Elaine comes up with a plan to cheer him up.

12. Stephen and Owen clash over Jenny

Jenny tells Stephen she’ll put a good word for him with Owen, and Stephen is grateful for his support.

During lunch, Stephen tries to convince Owen, but Owen makes it clear to Stephen that he doesn’t trust him. He also suspects Stephen of embezzling money from Underworld and has an eye on Jenny.

Stephen tries to defend himself but is interrupted by the arrival of Elaine, Audrey, Sarah and Michael.

The group starts waving flags and wants to help Stephen celebrate Canada Day. Stephen claims he is happy to see them, but is shocked to see Elaine giving him daggers.

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
