It’s amazing to think about now, but there was a time when “The Flash” was supposed to be the first DC movie to hit theaters after “Justice League.” It didn’t exactly pan out, but more than five years after the “Justice League” debacle and many more issues later, the Scarlet Speedster is finally gearing up to grace the big screen in a solo movie. GOOD, kind of a solo movie. He’ll have company in the form of not one but two Batmans with both Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck on board, as well as Sasha Calle playing a new version of Supergirl.
It’s a great movie, with Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen at the center of it all (despite the notorious public unrest the star has endured over the past two years). Either way, director Andy Muschietti brings us a great summer movie, with a great journey through the DC multiverse. Now for the big question: does this journey continue in the credits? We’re here to give you the spoiler-free answer as to whether or not the movie has a credits scene of any kind. Seriously, no spoilers! Move forward without fear. Let’s go.
Does The Flash have a credits scene?
Simply put, yes, “The Flash” does have a post-credits scene. So those who ordered a large soda and need a bathroom break might want to keep it a little longer. Or, in this case, make a mad dash to the lobby and come back fast, because the scene in question takes place at the very end of the credits. It’s not a mid-credits scene that pops up moments after the movie ends, like the one that appeared in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” earlier this year. This one takes a bit of patience because it sits at the end of all those many names that helped make this movie a reality. So don’t get impatient, sit back and expect the scene to be pretty much the last thing to appear on screen before the lights come on.
How important is the scene?
As for the importance of the stage? For the most part, it’s not of critical importance to the world, as the “Justice League” scene seemed to be at the time (although it never actually amounted to anything). It’s probably best ranked as fun and most likely something DC fans will want to stick around for. It doesn’t really impact the plot of this movie, or directly set up a big event. But it’s probably worth watching if you felt comfortable enough with the movie to head to the theater to watch it.

The cast also includes Ron Livingston (“The Conjuring”), Maribel Verdú (“Elite”), Kiersey Clemons (“Sweetheart”), Antje Traue (“King of Ravens”) and Michael Shannon (“Man of Steel”).
