EastEnders spoilers – Heather Peace reveals Eve’s role in flashforward story

EastEnders spoilers follow.

EastEnders Star Heather Peace has addressed Eve’s role in the Christmas flashforward story.

Eve isn’t one of the six characters shown in the recent flashforward footage that reveals someone will be dead in The Queen Vic this festive season – but she does have ties to Stacey Slater and Suki Panesar, who were both present in the pictures.

Talk to digital spy and other outlets, Heather expressed hope that Eve’s relationships with Stacey and Suki might indicate she was involved in the storyline as well.

“I don’t think it will be me [who dies], obviously. I never thought about it for a second,” Heather told us.

“But I’m involved in both Stacey’s story and Suki’s story. I would like to be involved in some way, but I have absolutely no idea at the moment. “

The culmination of the flashforward story at Christmas will cap off an incredible year that has already seen EastEnders win all four viewer-voted categories at the British Soap Awards in a huge critical turnaround.

Asked about this special moment at the British Soap Awards, Heather said: “I made this video on Twitter and Instagram just showing us all dancing afterwards. But to be honest the atmosphere has been great for quite a while now and all of that Saturday night was the culmination of what we think we’ll bring as a cast and crew.

“It felt good to us if it made sense, just because in the cast right now we all support each other and we all want to be brilliant. It’s very, very together and it’s very together and about want the show to be good.

“Honestly, we all adore each other – I haven’t worked in a cast that’s been as supportive of everyone as this in the 26 years I’ve been doing this. It’s a pretty special place to the moment.”

If the Christmas thriller lives up to the hype, the EastEnders the team could also find themselves celebrating the British Soap Awards next year!

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show is also streaming on BBC iPlayer.
