EmmerdaleAmelia Spencer faces a terrifying encounter next week as one of her social media followers corners her at the salon.
Amelia turns to social media as a tool to make money in upcoming episodes, but events take a sinister turn when she comes face to face with the darker side of online fame.
Next week, Amelia’s dad, Dan, gets upset when he learns she skipped college.
Amelia holds her ground, adamant that working on her social media page and using it to make money should be her top priority.

The teenager’s boyfriend, Noah Dingle, is also worried about her use of social media. When he glances at his phone’s notifications, he’s horrified by some of the suggestive messages she’s received.
Amelia warns Noah to interfere, but he refuses to back down and tells Dan what he saw on the phone.
Although Amelia insists she can handle the messages, Noah and Dan continue to worry. Dan even resorts to confiscating Amelia’s phone and laptop in hopes it will give her pause.

Later that week, a creepy guy named Lloyd arrives at the salon, initially claiming to be a customer.
Lloyd later introduces himself as the top follower on Amelia’s page, leaving her worried as she thought the online fan in question was female.
The unwelcome visitor demands a one-on-one with Amelia and traps her inside the living room.
Fortunately, Mandy Dingle arrives and saves Amelia by scaring Lloyd.

Despite this, Lloyd continues to harass Amelia with messages, which is alarming since he knows where she lives.
Amelia doesn’t want Dan involved in the situation, but the news quickly comes back to him and he insists on calling the police against his daughter’s wishes.
When the agents arrive to investigate, will that help?
