Emmerdale Spoilers – Jai Sharma takes aim at Rishi’s death

Emmerdale spoilers follow.

EmmerdaleJai Sharma argued with show newcomer Suni in Friday’s (July 28) episode as he grappled with the discovery that his father Rishi had died alone.

Jai received a devastating shock as he showed up at Holdgate Farm the day after his wedding, finding Rishi dead at the bottom of the stairs.

The businessman had intended to reconcile with Rishi following their recent quarrels over his adoption, but he found himself guilt-ridden when he realized he would never have the chance to make peace.

Jai was soon joined at home by Suni, who had spent the night with Nicky Miligan at Mill Cottage. Before that, Suni had stayed with Rishi after arriving at the village for the wedding.

News quickly spread through Emmerdale that Rishi had passed away, with local residents heartbroken over the loss of a beloved friend and neighbor.

Jai went through a particularly difficult time as he bitterly regretted not resolving his issues with Rishi sooner.

When asked softly by PC Swirling when he last saw Rishi alive, Jai recalled, “We had a fight, him and I. You never think it’ll be the last time, do you? ?”

Later, looking for someone to blame, Jai blamed Suni for staying out for a meeting when he could have been home with Rishi.

Jai complained, “You should have been here last night. Whoever that guy is, I hope he was worth it.

Jai’s wife Laurel urged him not to blame Suni, but he doubled down, adding, “No, he should have been here and now my dad is dead.”

Emmerdale recently aired the reveal that Jai and Suni are half-brothers, as Jai’s biological father is Rishi’s younger brother, Amit. Suni is currently unaware of this.
