Victim spoilers follow.
Next week on Victim (August 12), Faith tells a shocking lie when Stevie discovers her secret, while Donna’s guilt for the car accident weighs heavily on her.
Here’s a full collection of the greatest moments to come:
1. Max acts
The team is forced to gather in Max’s office, where he explains that someone is stealing diazepam from the medicine cabinet. He tells them to be vigilant and that preventive measures will be put in place.
Max then asks Stevie how Faith is doing and she promises to get the word out.
Faith, however, is elsewhere taking her dose of drugs.
2. Iain and Jacob face an acid attack
Iain and Jacob arrive at a rave at a warehouse.
They are horrified to realize there has been an acid attack and immediately call for further assistance.
Later that day, Iain finds himself in a terrifying position when a situation spirals out of control.
3. Faith remains panicked
Stevie vents her frustrations with the new countersigning system for drugs as the team prepares for the arrival of acid attack victims.
Faith takes charge of the situation at the main entrance but is taken aback when Stevie informs her of the diazepam theft and Max’s prevention plan.
Panicking, Faith tries to reach for more drugs, only to find it’s now impossible under Max’s new rules.
4. Cam finds himself in the line of sight
Cam forgets to sign the morphine on the medication chart, much to Stevie’s chagrin.
As Faith collects antibiotics for cancer patient Viv, Stevie tells her that Cam forgot to sign for the morphine and wonders if he’s to blame for the missing diazepam.
While Faith remains silent, Stevie apparently doesn’t suspect her friend. Faith then asks Stevie to sign the diazepam for Viv, when in reality she doesn’t need it.
5. Stevie discovers the truth
Knowing she has to be extra vigilant, Stevie double checks Viv’s prescription and realizes it was less than what was signed.
Stevie begins to connect the dots and heads for the staff room. She searches Faith’s open locker, where she finds the rest of the diazepam.
Furious, Stevie tells Faith that she will report her to Max.
6. Donna continues to struggle
Donna is under more pressure than ever as she juggles her responsibilities at home and at work.
To add to her problems, Ashley, who was one of the accident victims, is brought to the emergency room with a self-inflicted injury.
7. Faith tells a shocking lie
Backed into a corner, Faith, panicked, is forced to think about her next move.
She decides to be honest with Stevie about everything, but ends up bottling it up and lying – telling Stevie that she has ovarian cancer and the diazepam was for the pain.
Faith begs her to keep it a secret, and a guilty Stevie agrees.
8. Donna’s Guilt Intensifies
Ashley again asks Donna to tell the truth about the accident and the fact that she was on the wrong side of the road.
When she disagrees, Ashley loses her temper and drops a tray of medical tools on the floor, cutting Donna in the process.
Afterwards, a moderate Ashley tells Donna that he can’t get his mom’s benefits because she’s in the hospital and he can’t get to work because his car is wrecked.
Donna tries to stay positive about it, but her maternal instinct kicks in and she struggles with her guilty conscience.
9. Ryan tries to make amends with Cam
Cam is still in love with Jodie, despite the distraction of the dog Ryan gave her.
Ryan tries to give her some advice, but Cam insists he doesn’t want to hear it – and he’s not forgiven either.
