Rayne Royce has revealed shocking health news about Hollyoakswith admission just before Juliet Nightingale’s funeral.
The social media influencer struggled with feelings of jealousy after her boyfriend Romeo and Peri grew closer; with Romeo going so far as to kiss Peri.
Tonight’s first look episode (July 3) began with the trio awkwardly meeting in the living room after Romeo and Peri fell asleep on the sofa, with final preparations for Juliet’s funeral.

Romeo was then horrified to learn that James had planned a much more traditional ceremony than him and Peri, with the pair subsequently arguing over what Juliet would have wanted.
The change in plans for the funeral affected Peri, who was adamant that she wanted to honor Juliet in her own way – by wearing the bright yellow dress she wore the night they confessed their love.
Romeo then confronted Rayne about her Juliet posts, accusing her of using her memory to further her brand. The conversation became even more heated after Rayne outlined her plans to livestream the eulogy.
Romeo expressed doubts about the pair’s compatibility, saying he felt like his life was lived in public, before storming out after telling Rayne it would be best if she didn’t attend the funeral.

After Peri tearfully said goodbye as Juliet’s coffin was in the hearse, she argued with James, as they each wanted to honor Juliet in their own way. Peri stormed off and said she wouldn’t be present, eventually confessing to a like-minded Romeo that rage overcame any feelings of grief.
As the couple walked back to the center of the village, Rayne watched them before leaving a voicemail for her boyfriend stating that she had some urgent news to share.
Rayne told Romeo that she had received a text from her GP informing her that they had found a lump on Rayne’s body. Given his loose relationship with the truth in the past and his growing jealousy, is this another of Rayne’s games?…
Hollyoaks streams online first via Channel 4, with new episodes dropping every weekday morning. The show airs Monday to Friday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and 7pm on E4.
