At home and away brings a ruthless new character to UK screens next week as Andrew Lawrence’s mysterious storyline continues.
Andrew is confronted by a woman claiming to be from his past after Theo Poulos issues a social media appeal for information.
The lady arrives at the local police station and introduces herself as Esther Lawrence, Andrew’s mother.
“Esther” claims she’s been looking for Andrew for several years, as his father Archie – who had cult ties – kidnapped him when he was just a young boy.

Cash Newman and Justin Morgan set up a meeting between Andrew and his mother, but the teenager is overwhelmed and ends up running away.
Justin steps in to offer Andrew advice on reuniting with his mother, while Leah Patterson spends time listening to “Esther” as she talks about her supposedly long search for her missing son.
Feeling guilty for rejecting “Esther”, Andrew reluctantly tells Justin and Leah that he would like to go live with his mother.
Respecting this decision, the couple said an emotional goodbye to Andrew.

Later in the week, Cash enjoys the respite from a busy time at work, exhausted from the Andrew case.
The policeman spends time alone with his girlfriend Eden Fowler, which proves to be especially peaceful since his sister Felicity is out of town.
When Cash finally returns to work, he receives an unpleasant shock as the task force that investigated Andrew’s case shares an alarming update.
Cash’s colleagues confirm that the woman they sent Andrew home with was not his mother.
