the island of love unveiled two new bombshells after Maya Jama delivered a shocking twist on couples.
Mal Nicol And Montel McKenzie have entered the villa and will have their pick of the newly single islanders.
During Tuesday’s (June 20) episode, Maya announced that the Islanders should pick the couple they think are the least compatible. The unlucky winners of the vote were Jess Harding and Sammy Root and Leah Taylor and Mitchel Taylor, who were later forced to go their separate ways.
To make matters worse, the four were also told that they would not be able to recouple during the next recoupling. Instead, they would enjoy dates with the Mal and Montel bombs.

Mal is a 25-year-old image researcher from Edinburgh who lives in London. Before arriving at the villa, she admitted that Sammy was the boy she watched the most. She described him as “quite funny” and added: “His personality comes out more β there’s something about him that I like.”
As for the villa girls, Mal said, “I think they’re all very different. Jess puts it like that and has some good jokes and I like his humor.
“I love Molly’s energy – she seems very infectious and very positive. I think I would vibe with them. Obviously Ella is from Glasgow so we have that in common.”
Describing what kind of bombshell she will be, Mal said she doesn’t have a game plan and isn’t much of a flirt.
“I know I can’t flirt, I can’t dance, and I can’t sing, but I can guarantee I can laugh at them in my bed,” Mal said.
“I’ve never been a flirtatious person, but my energy is quite endearing and cute. I think boys think I’m quite sexy, but because I’m clumsy, I look sweet and innocent,” she added. “I know I won’t have to go for them β they will probably come for me.”
As for Montel, he is a 25-year-old account manager and semi-professional footballer from London. He said he was continuing the island of love because he just hasn’t found the perfect person to date as he’s “always so busy with work and football”.
Montel said his top three villa girls were Catherine, Leah and Ella.
“Ella, to me, is usually my type. Catherine is well behaved and seems like a classy girl,” he shared. “Leah seems very calm, and that’s the kind of person I am.”
Discussing the villa boys’ game plans so far, Montel said: “Mitch’s got it all wrong. It’s his underhandedness to me. He makes little comments about people and it’s not like that’s what I would do.”
βMe and Tyrique come from similar places, so I think we could behave the same way,β he added. “I like his attitude and I would probably say the same things as him in certain situations.”
the island of love airs on ITV2 and airs on ITVX.
