TOP STORY: PSG’s Hakimi on Man City’s radar
Defender of Paris Saint-Germain Ashraf Hakimi has been identified by Manchester City as a possible replacement for Kyle Walkeraccording to Football Insider.
Walker has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich this summer, with sources telling ESPN last month that the Bundesliga champions are keen on signing the England international.
The 33-year-old struggled for regular starts under Pep Guardiola last season, which resulted in the full-back being named as a substitute in the team’s final Champions League triumph over Internazionale, adding to rumors of a potential release.
Although Walker has yet to leave the Etihad, the report suggests the three-time winners wasted no time in nominating potential replacements. The report states that the 24-year-old would like to move but PSG would demand a hefty fee for the Morocco international.
